Daang! Diversify your strategy with Soul Core! Knight’s adventure file #3 Yo! What’s up! Thunder in the HAUS! Hello, I’m Hiroaki! Hey you copied my style! Well, it’s not a biggy. Our new product and the anime series “Battle Spirits” has just started. “Battle Spirits – Burning Soul.” This is the new Soul deck “Sengoku Crimson.” And the starter set with 2 decks. An awesome set! In the anime and the new deck, a new system will be added. It’s called “Soul Core” which is indicated here. Soul Core? Everyone might be wondering, “What the heck is Soul Core?” So we’ll be briefly going over this new system. So let’s move on to the usual red screen. Check this out! So this is the “Soul Core” that we just mentioned. I see. Soul Core. The ordinary core is this one here. There’s a big difference in size. Also the shape is quite different. You might be wondering, “How are we suppose to use this?” When you set up the game, normally you’ll put 5 for your life and 4 in the Reserve, right? Right. You’ll need to replace one of these with the Soul Core. And we’re all set! I got it. And plainly, these in the Reserve will be used to pay for the costs, as before. So you can use it like an ordinary core? Yes, you can. With your or your opponent’s card effects this one WON’T be sent to your life or to the Void. That’s the difference with the Soul Core rule. Other than that, you can use it just like the ordinary cores. If it’s just this, there’s nothing special about this core. Definitely. So, let us look at this card here. Here, you can see the Soul Core symbol. And this means that if the Soul Core is placed, you can activate this effect. OK. OK. Is this “Clash”? Yup. With this one you can activate “Clash.” And this one has its effect. OK. So there are various cards with Soul Core effects included in the new deck. OK. Got it. You can only have 1 Soul Core, right? Yup, only 1 in the game. It won’t increase in number, as for now, and it’ll probably remain this way. I’m not sure. You can’t add more during the game so you need to start with one. From now on, one of the 4 cores will be a Soul Core. Well, you CAN start without it according to the rule. So it’s not a MUST? Nope. But, you can’t add it during the game, so it’s better to just have it, at the start. I see. It works similar to “Braves.” Up until now, these cards would be destroyed when the core is taken off. With the Soul Core you can switch like this with other cores, even when there’s only 1. Oh really? So before, you had to move the core over and the card will be destroyed, but that won’t happen. No? Wow. No, so you don’t need to worry about that when moving the cores. Got it! And one more thing, if you use the Soul Core to pay for the cost, you can get a more powerful effect, depending on the card. As an extra effect? Exactly. That’s why the new Battle Spirits will be all about deciding when to use this Soul Core and with which card. That would be the key issue from now on. Got it. So that’s all for the explanation of the new Soul Core system rule. OK, got it. Now, I hope everyone understood how to use the Soul Core. I think everyone got it. Concerning the Soul Core, everyone understood it perfectly. Perfect. OK, so to celebrate the new release and the new series of Burning Soul, we will be hosting… You see these posters here? We’ll be hosting “The Ultimate Sengoku Championship.” Whaaat? A Championship? Yes. It’s not just hosted by Card Kingdom, but there’s Hobby Station, Yellow Submarine, and us.
