This is proof that the design of the X6 marked its era. Now it is available in X5, X4, X3, X2… A bit too much at BMW. Of course it’s not at all the same league, this and the X4M. It’s not the same price class either. This one is 250.000 €, that one is 100.000 € base price. It’s 650hp in the Urus, 510hp in the X4M. It’s 80% of Urus in all, but a third of the price. Three times more expensive here, for 20% more power and size. Even for 0 to 100km/h, this one 3.6 sec. That one 4.1sec. You also pay for prestige. The prestige of an Audi with a Lamborghini logo. Hey, enough already with that! You can’t match a Lamborghini… At this! You can ask yourself, do you really need the extra prestige for Pog? Because you already have 2 Lamborghini, do you need a Lamborghini SUV? Maybe, maybe not I don’t know. It’s true that I would have 3 Lamborghini. I think 3 Lamborghini is better than 2 Lamborghini. Normally we are the most powerful. But we are absolutely the most interesting car to drive. We rarely talk about lap times, power. We mainly talk about driving pleasure. You have ceramic brakes, front and rear. 420 mm in front, the largest ceramic brakes in the automotive industry. They are absolutely huge! So here we are on a path reserved for children, cyclists and tractors! Guess which is the slowest of the 3. This one, the G63, which is a real cube on wheels. Despite its 585 horsepower, it has a tremendous engine and torque for days. It’s the same look as the first version in 1979. It keeps selling again and again, it’s an icon and they won’t change it. One of the G63’s strengths, is acceleration, because it has insane amounts of torque. 650 Nm from 2500 rpm and then it goes up to 850 Nm. It means that the power is always there. When you step on the gas, you’re pushed in to your seat, like an electric car. But with much more sound. It has even more torque than the AMG GTR, just saying. From the outside it’s quite fun because when you accelerate, it goes like this… Guess which one is best for off-road. Well, all 3 of them hold their own. But clearly the G63 is the queen and it’s very fun! Another question, where are the exhausts located, do you see? They are not on the backside they are right here, double exhausts. Which can be a problem, because they can get very hot. So when we get out of the car… How much? € 100.000, € 170.000 and € 250.000. “Is it really worth such an expensive price?”, you can ask yourself. You can get this in carbon, it’s an option but it doesn’t make sense. To put fragile and expensive carbon on an SUV at this spot, while it’s supposed to be an off-roader, weird. Ah, a competitor! I learned to love it! Really good sound, especially at the exhaust! It’s signed Akrapovič and Lamborghini. In fact it is an option you can buy it straight at the dealer. Getting there? And here a Biturbo V8 with a high revving Italian sound, my favorite! So what do you think of colors? White for the URUS is not necessarily the best. The red is not bad, but it’s a little flashy. But very nice olive green color, military style. A lovely shade of green, which looks like black from a distance. The GT63S was like sitting in a sofa, in here it’s an even bigger sofa. They used to be infamous for being difficult to drive. This is no longer the case now. It’s AMG, it’s Mercedes. Not sure if you can tell, but the windshield is really very straight, like a 1970s Lada. All the rest, feels like modern times. It’s a classic, but a big step up compared to the previous generation. Always with disco lights. In my opinion it is used for during acceleration. Still no touchscreens, whereas a Fiat 500 has a touchscreen. It has different driving modes, very modern. Comfort, Sport, Sport+, the sound changes as you hear. Also a mode for slippery underground, which must be very useful. Proof that this is an all-terrain car. You can change the differential. It’s very convenient to have the trunk directly accessible. It’s not bad for a Media Car. But a Media Car needs to corner in a stable way, which is not really the case here. Besides It’s very high, the car is above the others. Which is not necessarily good for making point of view footage. You know, this is good. Yes. It’s time to give it back. It is brutal. Much more civilized, the Pogini, a Huracan Performante Spyder. With a forged carbon spoiler. It is glued to the road, it’s a real pleasure. She is 1,5 years old. It is an atmospheric V10. As you can see, it is a lot more modern. Too loud, can you still hear me? 2 Lamborghini, is fantastic. But 3 Lamborghini is definitely better. So the newest one, the URUS. It has the Lamborghini sensations, it’s cool. The design winks to the Countach. The inside. It’s a versatile car. It’s modern, comfortable. It’s pretty soundproof. It’s going to be quite a ruckus outside. The neighbors are not going to be happy. I fell for this one. I love her so much. The X4M next to my 8 year old X6. The X4M is a much cheaper car € 100,000 € 250.000 for the URUS, € 340.000 for the Aventador and € 300.000 for the Pogini. It is a lighter car, but only 250 kilos. It’s not the same category as the URUS. For me, there is not enough room. But it is good fun. Great car! I really liked this X6 which still serves me well on a regular basis. It was scandalous at the time. They said “what use is an SUV coupe?” It does not make sense.” Now it has become the norm, it is even available in multiple versions. If we are looking for scandal, today it is this. This big big beast. Some say, that Lamborghini should never have made an SUV, that they should stick to sports cars. That a real Lamborghini does not have a V8 Bi turbo, but a V12 or V10. Personally, it doesn’t bother me. The car is a matter of the past, of lineage. But it’s also the future, and it’s a bright future. The G63 is an absurd car, a cube on wheels. A car with a design from 40 years ago, but comfortable and modern inside. I like it, but there is another I love more, so I’m gonna pass on the G63. I’m not necessarily going to buy URUS because I tested sedans that I loved. In particular the M8 Competition Gran Coupé, still in the running. It’s a second possibility Very sporty, but comfortable. The most high-tech car I’ve ever seen. And a mind blowing acceleration, in a BMW. Third possibility is the RS6 2020. I have the previous one, this new RS6 finally lives up to the expectations. A fun station wagon, not painful but powerful. A very good combination of many things. Also an option: the RS6-R from ABT. It will be played between these three. So, it will come down to these three.
