How To Wash Your Car Without Rinsing! – Chemical Guys

– What’s up everybody, Joey here at Chemical Guys detail garage. Today we got this Toyota
four runner in the shop. It’s not that bad but you do have like a light little grime. You got some you know bee
pollen, you got some cacita on the hood as well. Today we’re gonna be
utilizing a different form of wash, somethin that isn’t so loud with like a pressure washer. Somethin that isn’t so tedious as to pulling out all these garden hose and washing the car with. So today we’re gonna
be showing you guys how to wash the car using Rinse Free which is a waterless car wash solution. (tempo music) So like I said we’re gonna be
using our Rinse Free waterless wash method here today. Along with that we’re also going to be utilizing two dirt traps for our two buckets so we can do a two bucket wash method so we can you know filter the dirt and the grime that we’re going to get off of this
vehicle from our wash mitt so that we don’t you know reinstall that dirt on to the paint and you know install more
scratches and swirls. So first you’re gonna wanna go ahead and put one of your dirt traps in. You’re gonna wanna do it in a angled manner and then you’re gonna wanna let it sit, buried towards the bottom and that creates a air tight seal so that all that dirt stays forced at the bottom of the bucket. All right guys so now that we have our dirt
traps sitting at the bottom of our buckets we’re gonna go ahead and apply our Rinse Free
solution into one of our buckets. We’re only going to need to use one ounce per five gallon bucket. One ounce is pretty much equivalent to about a good squirt,
probably helped if I opened it. (beep) So one ounce is pretty much equivalent to one squirt of the
Rinse Free bottle, boom that’s all we’re gonna need and what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna get our micro fiber wash mitt and we’re just gonna go ahead and just mix it in the water. So now that it’s all mixed
up we’re just gonna go ahead and ring it out because like I said we gonna wanna go ahead and utilize as least amount of water as possible so that it doesn’t get all over the place and that’s pretty much the point of you know the Rinse Free wash. So we’re just gonna be pretty
much using it in the same form that we do our regular car washes which is pretty much in straight motions. Usually we start from top to bottom but I don’t have Walker with me today so I can’t entirely reach that spot so I’ll do that off camera. So like I said we’re gonna go and set the wash mitt down on the hood and we’re gonna pretty much go
ahead and roll it downwards. I’ll go ahead and wrist roll my wrist while I’m doing that so that all the dirt doesn’t
accumulate on one border. And just like that you
see how filthy the car is. From that there I’m gonna go ahead and go back to my rinse bucket and what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna set it towards the bottom, kind of scrub it towards the bottom so that the dirt gets ringed
loose from the wash mitt and I don’t get that back into the paint. So like I said since this
is pretty much you know we’re not gonna be using any water. We don’t have to rely on the water to rinse that off for us. That’s why we’re gonna have to use a little bit more of a cleaner process a
little bit more lubrication to not scratch the paint. So as you guys saw it’s very easy to use, I’m gonna go ahead and pretty much proceed with the rest of the vehicle and then we’ll be back so we can show you how to clean the wheels with the Rinse Free wash. (tempo music) All right guys, so before we get to the wheels one quick thing I forgot to mention is once we’re done using the Rinse Free solution you’re
simply gonna dry your car as normal just as you
would a regular wash. So we’re gonna go ahead and grab our micro fiber towel and we’re just gonna go ahead and just go over the car and just dry the whole thing. All right guys, so now that
we’re done washing the body of the car we’re gonna go ahead and proceed to the wheels. And the reason we’re gonna
do the wheels afterward is because we don’t want to use the same washment that we used to wash the paint with the wheel because you
know it’s still wheels, they still have iron
contaminants on there. Same you know same concept
we’re washing the vehicle, you can use the brush but you want to make sure that you use different tools for the paint versus the wheels. So we’re gonna be using a green work force micro fiber towel. Usually we recommend using
black towels on the wheels just because you know it’s dark and over time we don’t want the grime to start showing on the towels but you know for you know purposes of the video we want to show you the grime and how much you know the Rinse Free can do will removing this level of grime on the wheels. So we’re gonna start off by dunking our towel in the Rinse Free solution and same thing we’re gonna go ahead and ring it out and use the light amount. It’s pretty damp and we’re
gonna top we’re gonna start from the top and work our way to the bottom. And we’re gonna just work in
straight motions just like as you would the paint. You’ll see right now when I pull off the towel it gets pretty grimy so we wanna make sure that we utilize the towel to the best of it’s capability by flipping it to a new side you know we don’t have necessarily have to dunk it in the washment just kind of how we did the washment just
because it’s a towel we have multiple sides so we can just flip it to a new side anytime we want to do the next part of the wheel. Just gonna dunk it a little bit more and we’re gonna go work our way around. And I’m just gonna go ahead and kind of wrap around each spoke and the crevices as well. Make sure that we get all
the grime cause these wheels do have like little cracks right here that we kind of have to dig into. We’ll proceed by doing
about half of the wheel. I’ll flip it over to a new side. Get the valve stem get in there. And then we’ll go back to our rinse bucket. Same thing, kind of scrub it at the bottom to knock down that dirt. Take it out, rinse it out, back to our waterless wash
solution, ring it out. And back into the wheels. So now that we’re done with the wheel, same thing we’re gonna grab a dry micro fiber towel and we’re simple just gonna dry the wheel right out. All right guys so now that we’re done drying the vehicle you can see how easy it is to wash your entire vehicle using the Rinse Free
waterless wash solution. If you wanna make sure, pick
