When the trip is starting, be sure to meet your guest either at the vehicle’s location or at the delivery location. You must meet them at the agreed-upon location at the trip start time. We suggest messaging your guests from the Turo app to communicate any updates, for instance, if you got stuck in traffic. You can also share your location with them when you’re delivering the car so they can be apprised of your progress as you make your way towards them. Once you meet them, always be sure to do the following: Check their driver’s license; you’re required to make sure it matches the name on the trip reservation and that the license is valid. Go through the mobile Trip Checklist and make sure you document the fuel and mileage levels. Walk around the car together and note any pre-existing damage. Finally, take photos of the car using Trip
Photos to document its condition. If you’re not able to meet your guest in
person, have them take and upload Trip Photos so you’re both in agreement regarding the
car’s condition before the trip starts.
